Removal & Installation: Boot: Removal

Remove outer tie rod end. See OUTER TIE ROD ENDΒ removal and installation. Remove lock nut for outer tie rod from inner tie rod. Remove boot clamps and boot.
CAUTION:
Mark location of breather tube on housing for reassembly reference before removing boot. See Figure.
