Cruise Control Engagement Switch: Removal

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove left sound insulator under left side of instrument panel. Disconnect cruise switch connector at base of steering column and attach a long piece of wire to end of cruise control lever connector.
- Pull multifunction lever toward driver door to release from pivot. Pull harness up and out of steering column gently, reusing wire for installation. Removing protective sheathing for cruise control wires from steering column may aid in removal of switch. Remove multifunction lever.
