- Vehicle should be on level surface. Transaxle fluid should be COLD when checking fluid. Fluid should be at "FULL" mark on dipstick. See Fig 1 . Drain plug is below dipstick tube.
- On Fiero equipped with Isuzu transaxle, remove permanent magnet generator on driver's side of case. Fluid level should be between "L" and "H" marks on generator. See Fig 2 .
