NOTE:
Never under any circumstances reintroduce used hydraulic fluid into system.
- Raise and secure vehicle. Measure the slave cylinder push rod travel while the clutch pedal is being depressed. Refer to the SLAVE CYLINDER PUSH ROD TRAVEL SPECIFICATIONSΒ table for minimum travel allowed.
- If push rod travel distance is not correct, check master cylinder fluid reservoir level. If fluid level is low, check hydraulic system components for leakage. It is recommended to replace both master cylinder and slave cylinder if excessive leakage is evident.
