Message Reset

1988 Pontiac Firebird Base, 5.0 E, StandardSECTION Message Reset

After the engine timing belt has been replaced, reset the CHANGE TIMING BELT message by locating and removing the fuses that supply power to the Instrument Cluster, for two minutes.

  • 2011-16 Cruze  : Fuse #21 (F21DA) Under Dash (Fig 1)
  • 2012-16 Sonic  : Fuse #F26 (F26DA) Under Dash (lower-left of dash - Fig 2)
