NOTE:
The following step numbers refer to the numbers in the accompanying flow chart(s).
- Engine coolant temperature should be below 105Β°F (40Β°C).
- EFE valve should be open above 105Β°F(40Β°C).
- There should be at least 10 In. Hg vacuum available to EFE actuator diaphragm.
- Valve may be seized. It may be freed up using Heat Valve Lubricant (1052627). If valve does not free up, replace valve.
