When removing ridge at top of cylinder bore, never cut into ring travel area more than .03125" (.794 mm). Before removing piston and connecting rod, ensure rod caps are marked to their related rods for proper reassembly. DO NOT damage crankshaft journals or cylinder wall during removal.
