Suspension - Front: Description
Front suspension is an independent ball joint type with a conventional long and short control arm design. Control arms attach to the frame with bolts and bushings at the inner pivot points and to ball joints on the steering knuckle at outer pivot points.
Coil springs mount between lower control arms and suspension crossmember. Shock absorbers mount between top of upper control arms and inner fender panels. The lower ball joints have a "wear indicator" feature.
The front wheel hubs use tapered roller bearings which have a slightly loose feel when properly adjusted.
