Pressure regulator is located at the end of the fuel rail. It keeps fuel pressure to the injectors (pressure in the rail) constant. The remaining fuel is then returned to the fuel tank. It is a diaphragm operated relief valve with injector pressure on one side and atmospheric pressure on the other.
