(1) Only A/C compressor drive belt is adjustable. All other accessory drive belts are equipped with an automatic belt tensioner and no adjustment is required.
(2) Using a Burroughs belt tension gauge (C-4162).
(3) Using a torque wrench applied to square hole in bracket.
(4) Belt is considered used after 15 minutes of service.
CAUTION: DO NOT attempt to check belt tension using a belt tension gauge on vehicles equipped with an automatic belt tensioner.
