Fluid Level Check
Before checking power steering fluid level, wipe reservoir filler cap free of dirt. Check fluid level with vehicle on level surface, engine off and at normal ambient temperature 70-80°F (21-27°C). Remove fluid level dipstick on reservoir. Fluid should indicate FULL COLD mark on dipstick. If needed, add fluid through dipstick opening, and recheck. DO NOT overfill.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
