  1. Turn ignition off and disconnect DRB from data link connector. Keep fingers off DRB keypad and carefully reconnect DRB to data link connector. If DRB displays RAM TEST FAILURE message, replace defective DRB.
  2. If message was not displayed, check if DRB displays KEY PAD TEST FAILURE message. If KEY PAD TEST FAILURE message is displayed, replace defective DRB. If message is not displayed, DRB is functioning properly.
