With wiper arms removed, cycle wiper motor into park position. Mount arms on pivot shafts. Check position of wiper blades. Distance from tip of blades to bottom of windshield should be at least 1" (25.4 mm). See Fig 1 . Check linkage and pivot assembly for wear if wiper blades do not return to this position after operation.
