- Disconnect EMS control unit harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between harness connector terminal No. 52 (Black wire) and ground. See Figure .
- If continuity exists, ground circuit is okay. If continuity does not exist, repair Black wire between ECS control unit harness connector and ground connection on chassis below rear glass latch point.
