  1. Ensure engine is at operating temperature and all accessories are off. Place transmission in Neutral and front wheels are in a straight-ahead position.
  2. Check ignition timing and adjust if necessary. Run engine at 2000-3000 RPM for more than 5 seconds. Allow engine to idle for 2 minutes. Check idle speed. Refer to IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONSΒ  . If idle speed is not within specification, diagnosis of Idle Speed Control (ISC) motor is necessary.
