Mirror Motor Test
1989 Plymouth Sundance Base, 2D Hatchback, 2.5 K, Standard, A525SECTION Mirror Motor Test
- Remove power mirror switch from mounting position. Disconnect wiring harness at switch connector. Connect one jumper wire to a 12-volt source and another to chassis ground.
- Refer to appropriate MIRROR MOTOR TEST chart for jumper wire connections at wiring harness. If 2 wire codes are indicated in "12 Volts" column, both wires must be connected simultaneously for proper test results.
- If results shown in chart are NOT obtained, check circuit for broken or shorted circuit. If wiring is okay, replace mirror assembly as required.
