- Drain transaxle fluid and remove oil pan. Apply 30 psi (2.1 kg/cm2 ) air pressure to low-reverse servo and measure gap between band ends. If less than .080" (2.0 mm), band is excessively worn and should be replaced.
- To adjust band, loosen lock nut approximately 5 turns and tighten adjusting screw to 44 INCH lbs. (5 N.m). Back off adjusting screw the number of turns listed. See LOW-REVERSE (REAR BAND ADJUSTMENT . Hold screw in position and tighten lock nut.LOW-REVERSE (REAR) BAND ADJUSTMENT
