- Locate kickdown band adjusting screw at left side (top front) of transmission case. Loosen adjusting screw lock nut and back off 5 turns. Ensure adjusting screw turns freely in case.
- Using Wrench (C-3380-A) with Adapter (C-3705), tighten adjusting screw to 48 INCH lbs. (5 N.m). If adapter is not used, tighten adjusting screw to 72 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).
- Back off front adjusting screw. See KICKDOWN BAND ADJUSTMENTΒ
. Hold adjusting screw and tighten lock nut to 35 ft. lbs. (47 N.m).KICKDOWN BAND ADJUSTMENT
