The ignition switch is mounted on steering column and is actuated by a rod attached to ignition key lock cylinder mechanism.

On some models, dimmer switch is located on column near ignition switch. This type of dimmer switch is actuated by a rod attached to turn signal or accessory stalk.

Speed control switch, on some models, is integral with turn signal lever. Washer/wiper switches can also be found on column mounted stalk controls.
