Thermostat is a wax pellet type for RWD vehicles, and vent valve for FWD vehicle. Thermostat opening temperature is 180Β°F (81Β°C) for 2.5L engines and 195Β°F (91Β°C) for all others. Replace thermostat if operating temperature is inaccurate.
