Power from transaxle is transferred to driving wheels by 2 unequal length axle shafts (except turbo). Turbo models have 2 equal length axle shafts. The right axle shaft (turbo only) has an intermediate shaft with bearing/support assembly mounted to rear of engine block. All axle shafts have tripod design CV joints at transaxle end and rzeppa design CV joints at wheel hub end.
