As a quick diagnosis, the cluster will perform a function check immediately after ignition is switched to RUN/START position. All transmission range LEDs and warning lights, except cruise, will light for a brief period. If cluster is not receiving CCD bus messages, cluster will appear non-functional except for the continuously illuminated air bag indicator.

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION Section before disconnecting battery.
