NOTE:
For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATIONΒ . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ .
- Using DRB, read fault messages. If DRB displays RF WSS CONTINUITY fault, perform test 11A. If DRB does not display RF WSS CONTINUITY fault, go to next step.
- Inspect right front Wheel Speed Sensor (WSS) for damage. If right front WSS is damaged, replace right front WSS. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TESTΒ . If right front WSS is okay, go to next step.
- Inspect right front tone wheel for damage (chipping or cracking). If tone wheel is damaged, replace tone wheel. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TESTΒ . If tone wheel is okay, go to next step.
- Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect right front WSS 2-pin connector, located near base of right front shock tower. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between right front WSS male connector terminals. If resistance is not 1000-4000 ohms, replace right front WSS. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TESTΒ . If resistance is 1000-4000 ohms, go to next step.
- Inspect condition of ABS wiring harness between Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) and right front WSS. If ABS wiring harness is damaged, repair as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TESTΒ . If ABS wiring harness is okay, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TESTΒ .
