NOTE:

. When directed to go to next step, disregard step if vehicle is not equipped with module being tested.
- Connect DRB to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under instrument cluster, next to center console. If DRB is not operational, see VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS . If DRB is operational, go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using DRB, select body system. If DRB does not display BUS OPERATIONAL, see VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS. If DRB displays BUS OPERATIONAL, go to next step.
- Using DRB, select body computer. If DRB displays NO RESPONSE, go to TEST 53A . If DRB does not display NO RESPONSE, go to next step.
- If DRB displays TURN IGNITION ON, go to TEST 54A . If DRB does not display TURN IGNITION ON, go to next step.
- Using DRB, select Powertrain Control Module (PCM). If DRB displays NO RESPONSE, go to TEST 56A . If DRB does not display NO RESPONSE, go to next step.
- Using DRB, read body computer trouble codes. If any trouble codes are displayed, go to TEST 1B. If no trouble codes are displayed, go to next step.NOTE: TEST 16A through TEST 25J are related to A/C-heater systems. Test procedures for A/C-heater systems may be found in 1994 lemon-25(R) AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING SERVICE & REPAIR, DOMESTIC CARS, LIGHT TRUCKS & VANS manual.
- Using DRB, select Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) system. If DRB displays NO RESPONSE, refer to 1994 lemon-25(R) AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING SERVICE & REPAIR, DOMESTIC CARS, LIGHT TRUCKS & VANS manual. If DRB does not display NO RESPONSE, go to next step.
- Using DRB, select Overhead Travel Information System (OTIS) module. If DRB displays NO RESPONSE, go to TEST 15B . If DRB does not display NO RESPONSE, see TEST 1A DIAGNOSTIC TEST DIRECTORY table for specific diagnosis.
