Raise and support vehicle. Using DRB, read Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) signal. Start engine. Place shift lever in gear. Gradually accelerate vehicle. If DRB displays increasing speed as vehicle is accelerated, verify customer's complaint and retest system. If DRB does not display increasing speed as vehicle is accelerated, see appropriate TESTS W/CODES - 3.0L article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
