NOTE:

. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Disconnect parking brake switch connector. Connect jumper wire between parking brake switch connector Black/White wire and ground. If DRB does not display PRK BRAKE : OPEN, replace parking brake switch. If DRB displays PRK BRAKE : OPEN, go to next step.
- Disconnect jumper wire. Gain access to Body Control Module (BCM), located behind right kick panel. With connectors connected, connect jumper wire between BCM Natural connector terminal No. 9 (Black/White wire) and ground. If DRB displays PRK BRAKE : OPEN, replace BCM. If DRB does not display PRK BRAKE : OPEN, repair open Black/White wire between BCM Natural connector and parking brake switch connector.
