- Remove liftgate lower cover. Disconnect feed connector from motor. With ignition on and wiper switch in the "OFF" position, check for battery voltage at Blue wire.
- Turn ignition and wiper switches on. Check for battery voltage at Blue and Brown wires. If no battery voltage is obtained in either step, check circuit breaker, switch and wiring.
- With ignition on and wiper switch in the "OFF" position, check for battery voltage between Blue and Brown wires. If battery voltage is not obtained, check ground wire to switch. If voltage is present, replace motor.
