Mode Control
Several A/C-heater control panel mode settings are possible to provide the desired comfort level. Some models may use international symbols. Each mode is listed in order (clockwise) as positioned on mode selector. Operation is as follows:
- VENT:Β In this mode, compressor does not operate and outside air is delivered through instrument panel vents.
- BI-LEV (Bi-Level):Β In this mode, conditioned air is directed through instrument panel vents and floor ducts.
- FLOOR:Β In this mode, outside air is heated and directed through floor ducts.
- Defog:Β In this mode, heated airflow is divided between windshield defroster vents and floor ducts.
- Defrost:Β In this mode, heated air is directed to windshield defroster vents.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- β’ Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- β’ The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- β’ You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
