Front-End Discriminating Sensor: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONSΒ  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ  .
  2. Forward discriminating sensor is located next to hood latch bracket. Remove CPA clip and disconnect sensor connector. Remove sensor mounting fasteners. Remove sensor. See Fig 1 .
