Self-Diagnostic - System
Ensure all components are connected. Turn ignition switch to RUN position (engine off). Connect scan tool. Check if scan tool communicates with Body Function Controller (BFC). Check DTCs. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) DEFINITIONS table. See TESTING - DIAGNOSTIC .

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
