Cruise Control Cable Adjustment
On 3.1L engine, disengage adjustment lock tab on cruise control cable by lifting straight up. Cable should move freely in and out of adjuster. Hold throttle at closed position. Move cable in and out of adjuster to remove any slack. Cruise control throttle body cam will rest against throttle lever when cable is properly adjusted. Push down to engage adjustment lock. Ensure throttle returns to closed position. On 2.4L engine, hold throttle at closed position and adjust thumb screw to remove any slack.
