DTC sets when any of the following conditions are detected by SDM:
- 23 VLR voltage is out of normal operating range during POWER-ON or CONTINUOUS MONITORING tests.
- Crash data recording reserve voltage discharge time failure for 3 consecutive ignition cycles during POWER-ON test.
- Calculated checksum for internal memory does not match stored value during POWER-ON test.
- Driver or passenger deployment loop is shorted to ground during CONTINUOUS MONITORING tests.
- Accelerometer is malfunctioning during POWER-ON or CONTINUOUS MONITORING tests.
- Driver or passenger current source is malfunctioning during RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT test.
- Temporary memory storage area is malfunctioning during POWER-ON test.
- SDM is unable to read from or write to EEPROM during POWER-ON test.
- Arming sensor inside SDM is not closed during deployment event.
- Voltage measured at DRIVER LOW and PASSENGER LOW is too low during POWER-ON or CONTINUOUS MONITORING tests.
- Device in SDM that arms system for deployment is malfunctioning during POWER-ON or CONTINUOUS MONITORING tests.
- Permanent memory storage area is malfunctioning during POWER-ON test.
