To conduct this procedure a hydraulic press and tools J-36182-1, J-36182-2 and J-36185 are required.
1. Refer to Fig. 10, and proceed as follows:
a. Position tool J-36182-1 and J-36182-2 onto a hydraulic press.
b. Position transaxle case/gear cluster assembly (A) onto tool J-36182-1 and J-36182-2. Align shift rail and shaft pilots to the fixture.
c. Position J-36185 onto shaft support bearings and pilots.
d. Using the press, separate the shaft and gear clusters from transaxle case.
