- Remove clamp and nut from each shifting lever at transaxle. Remove shifter knob, console and shift boot. Disconnect cables from ball stud on control assembly by twisting a screwdriver between cable socket and control assembly.
- Remove spring clips retaining cables to control assembly. Pull right side carpet back to gain access to shift cables. Remove shift cable grommet cover screws and cable cover at floor pan. Remove cables. To install, reverse removal procedure.
