Atmospheric Idle Vent

1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar I 7.0L Eng, Automatic TransSECTION Atmospheric Idle Vent
NOTE: Idle vent not used on some models.

With pump rod correctly adjusted, open throttle valves to point where vent valve is just closed, then hold in this position. Distance from top of air horn to bottom of pump plunger shaft should be as specified (see SpecificationsΒ ). To adjust, bend tang on pump lever.
