Confirmation Procedure
Always drive vehicle at a safe speed.
- PREPARATION BEFORE WORK
If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" is previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 60 seconds before performing the next test.
NOTE:After turning ignition switch from ON to OFF, wait at least 60 seconds or more without any switch operation of brake or door or others.

GO TO 2.
- PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
- Start the engine.
- Shift the selector lever to D position.
- Fully depress the accelerator pedal and accelerate by reaching 100 km/h (62 MPH). And then release the accelerator pedal.CAUTION:
- Observe legal speed limit.
- Be careful not to rev engine into the red zone on the tachometer.
- Stop the vehicle.
- Check the DTC.
Is "P0718" detected?

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
