A/T System Warning
DESIGN/PURPOSE
"A/T system warning" is displayed when the A/T system has a malfunction.

SYSTEM DIAGRAM

SIGNAL PATH
- The TCM judges and decides condition of A/T system/function, according to signals received from each sensor and actuator.
- When the display conditions of the A/T system warning are satisfied, TCM transmits an A/T system warning display signal to the combination meter via CAN communication.
- The combination meter displays "A/T system warning" on the information display, according to the A/T system warning display signal.
WARNING CONDITION
When all of the condition listed below are satisfied:
- Ignition switch: ON
- Specific A/T system malfunction is detected.NOTE:
For DTCs that the A/T system warning displays, refer to DTC Index .
WARNING CANCEL CONDITION
When any of the following conditions is satisfied:
- Engine stop
- DTC erased

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
