A/T CHECK Indicator Lamp
DESIGN/PURPOSE
A/T CHECK indicator lamp indicates the driver that A/T system/function is not normal.
BULB CHECK
The A/T CHECK indicator lamp turns ON and stays ON for two seconds after turning ON the ignition switch.
OPERATION AT COMBINATION METER CAN COMMUNICATION CUT-OFF OR UNUSUAL SIGNAL

SIGNAL PATH
- The TCM judges and decides condition of A/T system/function, according to signals received from each sensor and actuator.
- When the lighting conditions of the A/T CHECK indicator lamp are satisfied, TCM transmits an A/T CHECK indicator lamp signal to the combination meter via CAN communication.
- The combination meter turns ON the A/T CHECK indicator lamp, according to the A/T CHECK indicator lamp signal.
LIGHTING CONDITION
When a malfunction is detected in the A/T system/function.
SHUTOFF CONDITION
DTC erased

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
