Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC P23EA is displayed with DTC P0345 or P1145, first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for DTC P0345 or P1145.
Is DTC P0345 or P1145 detected?

Perform diagnosis of applicable.
- DTC P0345: Refer to DTC Description .
- DTC P1145: Refer to DTC Description .

GO TO 2.
- CHECK INTAKE CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR (BANK 2) SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR ELECTRIC INTAKE VALVE TIMING CONTROL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect ECM harness connector and electric intake valve timing control module harness connector.
- Check the continuity between ECM harness connector and electric intake valve timing control module harness connector.
ECM Electric intake valve timing control module Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal F78 68 F105 27 Existed - Also check harness for short to power and short to ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
