Component Inspection
- CHECK CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR 2-1Β
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Loosen the fixing bolt of crankshaft position sensor 2.
- Disconnect crankshaft position sensor 2 harness connector.
- Remove the crankshaft position sensor 2.
- Visually check the crankshaft position sensor 2 for chipping.
Is the inspection result normal?

Replace crankshaft position sensor 2. Refer to Component Location .

Check the resistance between crankshaft position sensor 2 terminals as follows.
Crankshaft position sensor 2 Condition Resistance Terminal (Polarity) 1 2 Temperature [Β°C (Β°F)] 25 (77) Except 0 or βΞ© 3 2 3 Is the inspection result normal?
