Component Inspection (Stop Lamp Switch)

- CHECK STOP LAMP SWITCH-IΒ
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect stop lamp switch harness connector.
- Check the continuity between stop lamp switch terminals under the following conditions.
Stop lamp switch Condition Continuity Terminal 1 2 Brake pedal Fully released Not existed Slightly depressed Existed
Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 2.
- CHECK STOP LAMP SWITCH-IIΒ
- Adjust stop lamp switch installation. Refer to Adjustment .
- Check the continuity between stop lamp switch terminals under the following conditions.
Stop lamp switch Condition Continuity Terminal 1 2 Brake pedal Fully released Not existed Slightly depressed Existed
Is the inspection result normal?
