Component Inspection (Main Battery Current Sensor)

2024 Nissan-Datsun Frontier SL, RWDSECTION Component Inspection (Main Battery Current Sensor)
  1. CHECK BATTERY CURRENT SENSORΒ 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect main battery negative cable.

    3. Install jumper cable between main battery negative terminal and body ground.
    4. Turn ignition switch ON.
    5. Check the voltage between ECM harness connector and ground.
      ECM Voltage (Approx.)
      Connector + -
      Terminal
      F78 56 (Battery current sensor signal) 29 (Sensor ground) 2.5 V*

      *: Before measuring the terminal voltage, confirm that the main battery is fully charged. Refer to Work Flow .

    Is the inspection result normal?
