DTC Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC "C1A43-23" is displayed with DTC "U1000-01", first diagnose the DTC "U1000-01".
Is applicable DTC detected?
>>
Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC Description .
>>
GO TO 2.
- CHECK ICC STEERING SWITCH
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Check the ICC steering switch. Refer to Component Inspection .
Is the inspection result normal?
>>
GO TO 3.
>>
Replace the ICC steering switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN COMBINATION SWITCH (SPIRAL CABLE) AND ECM
- Disconnect the combination switch (spiral cable) connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Check for continuity between the combination switch (spiral cable) harness connector and ECM harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 4.
>>
Repair the harnesses or connectors.
- CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH (SPIRAL CABLE)
- Disconnect combination switch (spiral cable) connector.
- Check for continuity between combination switch (spiral cable) connector terminals.

GO TO 5.
>>
Replace the combination switch (spiral cable). Refer to Removal and Installation .
- PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS OF ECM
- Connect the connectors of Combination switch (spiral cable) and ECM.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Perform "All DTC Reading".
- Check if any DTC is detected in "Self Diagnostic Result" of "ENGINE".
Is any DTC detected?
>>
Perform self-diagnosis on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Index .
>>
Replace the ADAS control unit 2. Refer to Removal and Installation .
