Yaw Rate/Side/Decel G Sensor
FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE SYSTEM
- The yaw rate/side/decel G sensor is located under the center console assembly.
- Calculates the following information that affects the vehicle and transmits a signal to ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) via communication lines:
INDIVIDUAL FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE SYSTEM
Yaw rate/side/decel G sensor detects the following status:
- Vehicle rotation angular velocity (yaw rate signal)
- Vehicle lateral acceleration (side G signal) / longitudinal acceleration (decel G signal)
INDIVIDUAL OPERATION
Yaw rate/side/decel G sensor converts the vehicle rotation angular velocity (yaw rate), vehicle lateral acceleration (side G) / longitudinal acceleration (decel G) velocity of the vehicle as the yaw rate/side/decel G sensor signal.
