Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  • If transaxle assembly is removed from the vehicle, always replace CSC. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  • When installing the transaxle assembly to the engine, use the specified tightening torque in the numerical sequence shown below:

    CAUTION:

    When installing transaxle assembly, do not allow the transaxle input shaft to make contact with the clutch cover.

  • Bleed the air from the clutch hydraulic system. Refer to AIR BLEEDING .
  • After installation, check oil level and check for leaks and loose mechanisms. Refer to INSPECTIONΒ .
