- CHECK STEERING SWITCH SIGNAL B CIRCUIT (TEL ADAPTER UNIT TO AUDIO UNIT)
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect audio unit connector and TEL adapter unit connector.
- Check continuity between audio unit harness connector and TEL adapter unit harness connector.
Audio unit TEL adapter unit Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M91 16 M127 18 Existed - Check continuity between audio unit harness connector and ground.
Audio unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M91 16 Not existed Is inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK AUDIO UNIT VOLTAGE
- Connect audio unit connector and TEL adapter unit connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between audio unit harness connector terminals.
Probe Standard Reference value (Approx.) (+) (-) Audio unit Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M91 16 M91 15 0 - 3.3 V 3.3 V Is inspection result normal?
YES: Replace TEL adapter unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: Replace audio unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
