Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK CONTINUITY BETWEEN TEL ADAPTER UNIT AND MICROPHONE CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect TEL adapter unit connector and microphone connector.
- Check continuity between TEL adapter unit harness connector and microphone harness connector.
TEL adapter unit Microphone Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal B237 7 R5 1 Existed 8 2 29 4 - Check continuity between TEL adapter unit harness connector and ground.
TEL adapter unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal B237 7 Not existed 29 Is inspection result OK?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK MICROPHONE POWER SUPPLY
- Connect TEL adapter unit connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between TEL adapter unit harness connector and ground.
TEL adapter unit Ground Voltage (Approx.) Connector Terminal B237 29 5.0 V Is inspection result OK?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Replace TEL adapter unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK MICROPHONE SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Connect microphone connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check signal between TEL adapter unit harness connector.

YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Replace microphone. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
