Maintenance intervals shown in the Vehicle Information Display (center of the instrument cluster) are reset using the Trip Computer switch. See Fig 1. When the ignition switch is ON, modes of the trip computer can be selected by pushing the (A) button briefly. Each time the button is pushed, the display will change modes. Press and hold to select. Use mode SETTINGS (6) for maintenance reminder adjustment or reset. See Fig 2.

NOTE: The SETTINGS mode cannot be accessed while driving.

Select MAINTENANCE from the SETTINGS menu. Press the (A) button briefly to highlight a menu item. Press and hold to select or reset. The maintenance intervals of the following items can be adjusted or reset for the reminders:

  • Service:  Select this menu to adjust the distance until next engine oil change, or reset the automatic reminder.
  • Tire:  Select this menu to adjust the distance until tires need replacing, or reset the automatic reminder.
  • Other:  Select this menu to adjust or reset items other than the engine oil, oil filter and tires. Other maintenance items can include such things as air filter or tire rotation.

To return to the top page of the SETTINGs menu, select BACK.
