Sound Is Not Heard from Rear Speaker (Without Rockford Fosgate)
- CONNECTOR CHECK
Check the audio unit and speaker connectors for the following:
- Proper connection
- Damage
- Disconnected or loose terminals
Is the inspection result normal?Β
YES: GO TO 2
NO: Repair the terminal and connector.
- HARNESS CHECK
- Disconnect AV control unit connector and rear speaker connector.
- Check continuity between AV control unit harness connector terminal and rear speaker harness connector terminal.
Terminals Continuity AV control unit Speaker Connector Terminal Connector Terminal A: M92 4 B: B27 + Yes 5 - 13 B: B39 + 14 - - Check continuity between AV control unit harness connector terminal and ground.
Terminals Continuity AV control unit - Connector Terminal A: M92 4 Ground No 5 13 14 OK or NGΒ
OK: GO TO 3.
NG: Repair harness or connector.
- REAR SPEAKER SIGNAL CHECK
- Connect AV control unit connector and rear speaker connector.
- Turn ignition switch to ACC.
- Push "POWER" switch.
- Check the signal between AV control unit harness connector terminals with CONSULT or oscilloscope.

OK: Replace speaker. Refer to , "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONΒ ".
NG: Replace AV control unit. Refer to , "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONΒ ".
