Removal of Drive Pinion Assembly

REMOVAL OF DRIVE PINION ASSEMBLY

1. Remove pinion nut while holding the companion flange using Tool.
Tool number: KV38108300 (J44195)

2. Remove companion flange with puller.
3. Remove ABS sensor and sensor rotor.

4. Remove drive pinion with soft hammer.
5. Remove front oil seal and pinion front bearing inner cone.

6. Remove pinion bearing outer races with a brass drift.

7. Remove pinion rear bearing inner cone and pinion height adjusting washer.
